I have to answer that in the form of then and now. 

Then, the words shy, quiet, and introvert followed me like a bad rumor. Of course, I had friends but I gravitated toward expressing myself through writing because my literary voice was much louder than my actual voice.

Now, writing allows me to get lost in the confines of my own mind. There's no fear or wrong just creative works, written or performed, that are soft, boisterous, powerful, light-hearted, thought provoking or reaffirming.

My love for words and storytelling started at an early age but I hid that love affair for a long time. I was convinced that the relationship wouldn't result in a fruitful lifestyle. However, the path I chose didn't bring me happiness. I realized I silenced my passion...my gift...me.

I founded A Voice In Writing, LLC because I want to be heard and share my literary works with the world. Like myself, there are many talented, unheard writers that need to be showcased. As I grow my brand, I want to be the facilitator of those beautiful and unique word romances. Whether they stem from fear or excitement, a heartbeat or heartache, written or performed, I want to put our voices on display for the world to embrace.
